Commercial Banking Analytics is in charge of delivering value to the business units by participating in strategic projects that have a strong data component, or by creating actionable insights for optimizing the decision making processes at all levels of the Organization. Commercial Banking is a Global unit based in Madrid and interacts with other global departments and with local units all across BBVA’s footprint (Spain, Mexico, South America and Turkey).</span></p><p></p><p><b>About the job:</b></p><p></p><p><span>We are looking for a results-oriented, enthusiastic and self-motivated data specialist with proven experience in visualization tools. </span></p><p><span>You will apply your technical knowledge and visualization skills to help business units create, develop and/or optimize dashboards on which to visualize tracking our strategic and programs KPIs. You will also use your communication skills to share the results of your analysis with all stakeholders.</span></p><p></p><p><span>Key responsibilities</span></p><ul><li><p><span>Collaborate with key internal and external stakeholders to gather and understand needs and requirements.</span></p></li><li><p><span>Represent / visualize results in the most appropriate format and present your findings effectively to analytical and non-analytical audiences.</span></p></li><li><p><span>Optimize all current Dashboard generation processes.</span></p></li><li><p><span>Execute the different migration processes of existing Dashboards between platforms (Quicksight, Microstrategy, Looker ...).</span></p></li><li><p><span>Advise the different business teams on the best visualization tool to use depending on the use case.</span></p></li></ul><p></p><p><span>Required Skills and Experience</span></p><ul><li><p><span>Solid foundations in areas like (the more the better)</span></p><ul><li><p><span>Solid experience in data wrangling: cleaning, transforming, and organizing raw data into usable formats is a MUST</span></p></li><li><p><span>Statistical analysis is a MUST</span></p></li><li><p><span>Ability to connect to and integrate data from APIs and third-party platforms (e.g., Google Analytics, Salesforce, REST APIs) is a MUST</span></p></li><li><p><span>Experience with data modeling to support scalable and efficient visualizations is a MUST</span></p></li><li><p><span>GenAI experience is a plus</span></p></li></ul></li><li><p><span>Programming experience:</span></p><ul><li><p><span>Knowledge of visualization tools and libraries is a MUST</span></p></li><li><p><span>Experience in the creation of metrics and KPIs using BI Tools (Tableau, MicroStrategy, DOMO, Power BI, Web Focus, Looker, Amazon QuickSight) is a MUST</span></p></li><li><p><span>Experience with SQL, Python, PySpark is a MUST (at least, two of them)</span></p></li><li><p><span>Programming skills and experience developing production-quality software is a plus.</span></p></li></ul></li><li><p><span>Business sense to put data in perspective, and extract meaningful conclusions</span></p></li><li><p><span>Experience and knowledge of the financial industry is a plus</span></p></li><li><p><span>Natural inclination for sharing findings and engaging in problem-solving with teammates, helping them with their challenges, and asking for their help when needed</span></p></li><li><p><span>Ability to communicate with different areas of Engineering (architecture, security, etc...) and Business.</span></p></li><li><p><span>Proactive mindset, with the ability to propose and implement dashboard and reporting improvements</span></p></li><li><p><span> Advanced level of English and Spanish</span></p></li><li><p><span>3+ years of professional experience (data specialist, business intelligence, consulting…)</span></p></li><li><p><span>Good communication skills</span></p></li></ul><p></p><p><span>Preferred Qualifications</span></p><ul><li><p><span>MSc in a relevant field such as Statistics, Computer Science, Applied Math, or other related <span>subject         </span></span></p></li></ul><ul><li><p><span>Working knowledge of the financial industry products/services and operations is a plus</span></p></li><li><p><span>Proficiency in Spanish and English is a MUST</span></p></li></ul><p></p><p><b>Skills:</b></p><p></p>Analytics, Customer Targeting, Empathy, Ethics, Innovation, Proactive Thinking
