Peraton is actively seeking a Senior Graphics Engineer (GE) to join our FEDSIM delivery team.
The Graphics Engineer (GE) position is assigned to the FEDSIM Center of Excellence in support of proposals submitted FEDSIM opportunities pursued by the business units across all Peraton Sectors. The GSA FEDSIM opportunities values range from $100M and surpass $1B in total contract value. The FEDSIM CoE GE will support the development and content used in the FEDSIM oral presentation. Working to support both capture and proposal activities, the GE will help structure the government content used for Oral slide development, slide outlines, slide themes, as part of the overarching solution development process to produce proposal artifacts. The GE will work with Task Lead SME and graphic leads in support of the maturity of content into orals slides. Support from the GE includes the integration of content developed from the proposal development worksheets (PDWs) and into the orals slide deck. This process is identified using an Agile methodology, to incrementally mature the technical approaches and win themes, strengths, features, benefits, discriminators, proof points to adjudicate content as part of the oral’s development process. The GE will document the process and procedures used to develop orals slide deck as part of the FEDSIM CoE delivery model. The GE is the Volume lead for Oral slide development through production.
Expectations of successful candidate include leading slide development during the FEDSIM Procurement Administrative Lead Time (PALT) cycle. This includes using an Agile delivery model covering weekly Sprints, to mature the oral presentation through a series of Releases through the Final TOR. The GE will use this Agile maturity model, to develop and integrate information released by FEDSIM to include information from previous solicitation documents, Requests for Information (RFIs), Market Assessment Discussions (MAD), electronic reading rooms, draft PWS’s, draft Section H and follow-on final TOR documents. The GE will integrate content captured from other FEDSIM sessions such as Industry Days, Due Diligence, Orals Q&A, electronic reading rooms, Notification of Decision Statement (NODS), follow up questions and retrospective conducted after bid submission to capture best practices and integrate lessons learned.
The GE is responsible for leading/mentoring Task Leads (authors) providing content that goes into the oral presentation. The GE will work with other contributors, proposal coordinators, consultants, teaming partners and other FEDSIM CoE volume leads to create compelling orals presentation. The GE position is primarily working remote until the Final TOR is released where moves into the war room or if classified proposal content requires work in classified spaces in Herndon and Chantilly VA.
Responsibilities
- Lead the development of the orals slide volume by integrating the content provided by the Capture Manager, Business Development Executives and Lead Solution Architects across all FEDSIM requirements and stated objectives.
- Integrated all FEDSIM government furnished information (GFI) (SB RFI, MAD, PWS, eRR, Final RFP, RFQ etc.) into the creation of the oral slides outline, that identifies content required to meet compliance for each Task area.
- Use and mature the FEDSIM CoE SOP, to deliver the Orals presentation aligned with the other FEDSIM Volume leads across the proposal delivery.
- Using an Agile release methodologies, to mature proposal developed content that aligns with minimum viable product (MVP) roadmap.
- Support and mentor content contributors; line leaders, SMEs, KPs, Consultants, Teaming Partners, Lead Solution Architects, and graphics leads to support the incremental delivery of slide content to produce compelling content and slide messaging.
- Integrate strength statements, customer call out boxes, product vendor affiliation to solutions, teaming partners, products, proof points and Key Personnel into slide development.
Qualifications
Required
- Bachelor’s degree with a focus around communications, technologies and/or business administration domains; experience in lieu of education will be considered.
- 8+ years (or minimum of 6 years with MS/MA, or minimum of 12+ years without a degree) working to support technical solutions and delivery of government programs.
- 5+ years of experience specific to supporting proposal deliveries.
- Experience with development of slide content for FEDSIM opportunities.
- 3+ years of experience specifically contributing to proposal development, pre-solicitation solution planning, color team reviews, technical editing, compliance audits, white glove, production, and preparing evaluation notice responses for
