Pay Range:
The typical pay range for this role is:
Minimum - Maximum
$22.65 - $36.25Please keep in mind that this range represents the pay range for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual salary offer will take into account a wide range of factors, including location.
Should overtime be worked, employees are paid overtime pay in accordance with state requirements.

THE JOB:
The Locksmith is to provide various locksmith services including but not limited to repair, rebuild, replacement and installation of all locks and mechanical parts throughout the interior and exterior of the property while providing excellent guest service
THE DAY-TO-DAY:
- Install, repair, rebuild, and service mechanical or electrical locking devices using hand tools and special equipment
- Determine proper method to be used in key cutting and duplication, and properly stamp codes on key with index
- Issue keys required for the interior and exterior of buildings, keys associated with equipment, cabinets/furniture and other key related items, maintain records of key assignments and locks for buildings, change lock combinations, maintain record of locks and combinations, and function on emergency response
- Set-up and maintain a master key system
- Utilize computer programs for keying and specification writing
- Maintain a variety of locks and locking devices; order key blanks, lock parts, lock sets, latches, and other material required to maintain a working inventory
- Inspect key and locking systems for buildings, change combinations on safes and vaults, and perform emergency keying and opening services on locks and safes
- Maintain compliance with current federal, state and local safety and security regulations, including adhering to federally listed lubricants such as graphite, oils, and grease
- Promote and maintain the highest level of customer service to all guests while staying alert to their needs
- Perform other job-related duties as requested
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:
· High School Diploma, GED or equivalent
· At least 2 year experience with Locksmithing
· Computer Savvy
· Experience with Electronic Locks
· Self Starter
· Strong Communication skills
· Customer service oriented
· Ability to handle multiple tasks at once.
· Strong attention to detail.
