Sentara Martha Jefferson is hiring a Senior Echocardiographer for a Flexi Day Shift in Charlottesville, VA!

 

Hours:  Monday – Friday, day shift, with call every 5th week to include the weekend. The Echocardiographer must live within a 30-minute drive of the hospital for call purposes.

The Senior Echocardiographer performs two dimensional echocardiograms, Doppler echocardiograms, transesophageal echocardiograms, exercise and pharmacological stress echocardiograms to evaluate heart and vessel abnormalities for the evaluation of heart disease and blood flow abnormalities. Completes the technologist report in the structured report application. Provides leadership to support department with respect to staffing schedule, accreditation, staff education or other duties as defined by management.

 
Requirements:

• Graduate of an accredited echocardiography program (or equivalent education) in accordance with IAC Guidelines.
  Candidates must have at least one of the four certifications (RDCS, RCCS, RCS, or ACS)
• Associates or Bachelor degree in Cardiovascular Technology preferred
• High School Diploma or Equivalent required
• Basic Life Support (BLS)
• 3 years of Adult Echocardiography Experience Required.
