Job Purpose

BorgWarner PowerDrive Systems is currently looking for “dynamic, results driven” individual to join as an Advanced eHardware Architect. 

The Advanced eHardware Architect will work as part of a team developing next generation traction inverters and be responsible for the overall architecture and requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Systems design for advanced inverter projects
• Develop and document hardware and software requirements
• Create mechanization drawings and allocate functional requirements
• Use simulation and analysis tools to evaluate design trade-offs and performance
• Checkout and debug new hardware & software in a lab environment
• Communicate project status

What We’re Looking For

• Currently enrolled in an accredited college, university, or be a graduate from an accredited college
• GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale, or B average, upon initial hire date
• Experience in power conversion and interface circuit design is preferred
• Experience with system simulation, system modelling, and circuit simulation tools is preferred
• Experience designing analog circuits, digital circuits, and microprocessors-based systems is preferred
• Experience designing and testing high voltage circuits and power supplies is preferred
• Excellent oral and written communication skills are required
• Strong interpersonal skills required
