Geotab is seeking a Senior Human Resources Business Partner<strong> </strong>who will act as a trusted advisor to their designated business groups. If you love technology, and are keen to join an industry leader — we would love to hear from you!</span></p> <h1><span>What you'll do:</span></h1> <p><span>As a Senior Human Resources Business Partner your key area of responsibility will be developing and executing people strategy with respective business leaders to drive outcomes in the areas of employee engagement, workforce planning, talent development, compensation, culture, change management and ensuring alignment with overall Geotab goals, policies and business initiatives. You will need to work closely with senior leaders within the functional group as coach and mentor. You will also collaborate with leaders to develop and monitor career path plans for employees, including compensation plans and performance goals.</span></p> <p><span><span>To be successful in this role you will possess a well-defined sense of diplomacy, including solid negotiation, conflict resolution, and relationship management skills. In addition, the successful candidate will have excellent analytical skills with the ability to problem solve to well-judged decisions.</span></span></p> <h1><span>How you'll make an impact:</span></h1> <ul> <li> <p><span>Accountable for the strategic direction of HR support for designated functional group while ensuring strategic direction aligns with overall organizational strategy. </span></p> </li> <li> <p><span>Take a consultative and collaborative approach to support and provide HR solutions within their designated business groups. </span></p> </li> <li> <p><span>Participate, develop and execute HR strategies, goals, objectives and projects in support of Geotab growth, people development and increased engagement and retention. </span></p> </li> <li> <p><span>Partner with senior leaders within the functional group as coach and mentor. </span></p> </li> <li> <p><span>Collaborate with leaders to develop and monitor career path plans for employees, including compensation plans and performance goals.</span></p> </li> <li> <p><span>Support leadership in building a culture of open communication and feedback and ensure it cascades through all levels of the business line.</span></p> </li> <li> <p><span>Promote and cultivate positive and trusting relationships with leaders and employees to ensure Geotab culture exists within your business lines.</span></p> </li> <li> <p><span>Build relationships, advise and coach employees and leadership on HR practices.</span></p> </li> <li> <p><span>Proactively assess, diagnose and develop solutions to organizational challenges within designated business groups.</span></p> </li> <li> <p><span>Provide day-to-day performance management guidance to leadership (coaching, counseling, career development, disciplinary actions).</span></p> </li> <li> <p><span>Manage and resolve complex employee relations issues, maintain appropriate records of investigations and advise
