Job Description
AECOM Hunt has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Construction Quality Manager for our ongoing construction projects in Chicago, IL.
- Oversees the management of the monitoring and evaluation process to ensure that AECOM quality management systems are being followed and evidence is recorded and maintained.
- •Provides guidance to employees within the latitude of established policies.
- Recommends changes to policies and establishes procedures that affect immediate organization.
- Works on issues of diverse scope where analysis of situation or data requires evaluation of a variety of factors, including understanding of current business trends.
- Acts as advisor to subordinates to meet schedules and/or resolve technical problems.
- May have budget responsibilities.
- Manages the coordination of activities of a group or department with responsibility for results.
- In some instances, may be responsible for functional area and may not have direct reports.

Qualifications
Minimum Requirement:
- BS Civil Engineering or similar curriculum and 8 years of construction quality control experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education.
Preferred requirements
- OSHA 30
- Level I and II Cement and Asphalt, aggregate certifications, etc.
- PE preferred.
- Quality Management strategic planning & execution.
- Excellent communication and team skills.
- Experience with subcontractor oversight, selection and negotiation.
- Construction documentation experience.
- Strong report writing and information dissemination proficiency.

- In order to receive a security badge at the client worksite to enable access to secure portions of the facility for which you are being hired to perform services, you may be required to pass the client's security screening process, which will include, but may not be limited to, Homeland Security background check and fingerprinting. Should this be required it will be done after you have commenced employment, and your participation in that process and a pass rating by the client are both conditions of your continued employment by AECOM.
