Database Architect

<p>At Uni Systems, we are working towards turning digital visions into reality. We are continuously growing and we are looking for a Database Architect to join our UniQue team.</p><p>What will you be bringing to the team?</p><ul> <li>Data analysis and modelling. </li> <li>Database design and implementation. </li> <li>Reverse engineering of existing databases. </li> <li>Development, maintenance and integration of database components. </li> <li>Integration with other databases. </li> <li>Elaboration of test programs. </li> <li>Develop best practices for standard naming conventions and coding practices to ensure consistency of data models and databases. </li> <li>Writing of technical documentation. </li> <li>Assistance with deployment and configuration of the system. </li> <li>Troubleshooting and optimization. </li> <li>Provision of technical evaluations and audit reports of databases. </li> <li>Risk analysis. </li> </ul><p><strong>Requirements</strong></p><p>What do you need to succeed in this position?</p><ul> <li>Master's degree and 9 years of relevant experience or Bachelor degree and 13 years of experience </li> <li>At least 3 years of proven expertise in Weblogic, or other JEE container, management</li> <li>Experience of data modelling and database design techniques and tools (e.g. SQL Developer Data Modeler, NoSQL Workbench). </li> <li>Experience of development tools (e.g. Oracle SQL Developer). </li> <li>Experience of relational database systems (e.g. Oracle). </li> <li>Experience of NoSQL database systems (e.g. Dynamo DB, MongoDB, Cassandra). </li> <li>Experience of SQL and PL/SQL and MQL and CQL. </li> <li>Experience of master data management. </li> <li>Experience of PL/SQL unit testing. </li> <li>Experience of database security and architecture</li> <li>Experience of Agile methodology. </li> <li>Experience of database release management. </li> <li>Following certifications would be considered an advantage: ITIL certification or other related to Oracle middleware</li> </ul><p></p><p>At Uni Systems, we are providing equal employment opportunities and banning any form of discrimination on grounds of gender, religion, race, color, nationality, disability, social class, political beliefs, age, marital status, sexual orientation or any other characteristics.
