The Senior Quality Engineer is responsible for ensuring the quality of membrane products through setting  inspection processes, implementing quality control measures and identifying improvement areas. Additionally, the Sr. Quality Engineer  addresses customer complaints, resolves production quality issues, collaborates with cross-functional teams to identify root causes, and drives continuous improvements to deliver high-quality products. Additionally, they support new product introduction projects.

This position reports to the Sr. Quality Engineer Team Leader and is part of the Quality Engineering Team located in Pensacola, FL and will be an on-site role. 

What you will do:

• Investigate and correct root causes of product failures occurring in the field.
• Ensure design control process compliance throughout whole product lifecycle and deliver training on quality process guiding colleagues and team members as required.
• Guide and overall support product risk management process.
• Establish, maintain, monitor QMS process performance with data analysis and  lead quality improvement project from system level
• Responsible for issuing or reviewing and approving validation documents

Who you are:

• Bachelor’s degree in science, engineering, or technical field required
• 3+ years of relevant experience in biomedical or medical device manufacturing preferred
• Uses analytical mind and data analysis to creatively and pragmatically solve problems, comes up with solutions
• Extensive knowledge of quality standards  ISO 9001  and ISO 13485
• Knowledge of QMS

Travel, Motor Vehicle Record & Physical/Environment Requirements: if applicable for role

• Ability to travel 15 % travel, overnight, within USA and internationally
• Must have a valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record
• Ability to lift, move or carry equipment up to 50lb

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

• Root Cause analysis and Risk mitigation Experience
• Minitab, and Microsoft Applications
• Identifying, analyzing and mitigating risk

The salary range for this role is <insert range>. This is the range that we in good faith believe is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. This range may be modified in the future.
