As a Security Professional - Residential Entry Control PT in Boca Raton, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Residential, and more. As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal, you will help to deter security-related incidents and provide a welcoming presence at a residential location. Your role involves monitoring entry points, verifying credentials, and conducting routine patrols to help maintain a secure environment for residents and guests. What You'll Do:

  • Monitor and control access points to help to deter unauthorized entry into residential locations.
  • Verify identification and credentials of residents, guests, and vendors according to site-specific policies.
  • Provide customer service to residents and visitors by responding to inquiries and assisting with directions or access needs.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around buildings and the perimeter to observe and report any unusual activities.
  • Document and report security-related incidents, maintenance issues, or hazards to the appropriate parties.
  • Collaborate with local law enforcement and emergency responders as needed during emergency response activities.
  • Maintain a visible presence to help to deter potential security-related concerns within the residential community.

Minimum Requirements:

  • At least one year of security-related experience is required.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • A guard card or license is preferred.
  • Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Experience with access control or badge systems is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
