Role is HYBRID (4days per week ONSITE, 1 day Remote. Ideal candidate will reside within commutable distance from Franklin Lakes, NJ or San Diego, CA BD Office.

Responsibilities Include:

Preparation and review of corporate federal income tax returns, including all aspects of the preparation of federal form 1120, including account level analysis.

Preparation and review of corporate state income and franchise tax returns, including concepts of filing methods, apportionment and identification of state modifications.

Research and analyze U.S. income tax and state legislation/law changes computing impact to the Company.

Support and manage aspects of federal and state audits, including drafting IDR responses and quantifying potential risk.

Support and manage the integration of acquisitions, tax impact of dispositions, and tax planning initiatives.

Support the calculation of U.S. federal and state effective tax rate drivers, and support the overall tax provision process for year-end, budget, quarterly income tax forecasts, estimates and cash tax impact/forecast.

Identify and implement opportunities to minimize the U.S. federal and state income tax provision and cash tax payments.

Qualifications, Education and Experience:

Bachelor in Accounting required, MS in Taxation and/or CPA preferred, will consider equivalent background and experience

8+ years of relevant working in a corporate income tax environment with a large multinational company and/or public accounting firm.

Must be proficient working on federal and state corporate income tax compliance for a U.S. headquartered multinational company.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

Systems:

Proficient with tax compliance software, Corptax preferred.

Proficient with Excel, and other Microsoft tools [Outlook, Word, PowerPoint]
