Location: New York

We are looking for a Gen AI Capability Lead with deep expertise in the Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) domain. This role will drive AI-driven transformation across the CPG value chain—enhancing supply chain efficiencies, improving consumer engagement, and enabling data-driven decision-making. The ideal candidate will have a strong blend of AI/ML expertise, business acumen, and CPG industry knowledge to develop and deploy innovative AI solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Leadership & AI Adoption

• Define and lead the Gen AI strategy within the CPG domain, aligning with business objectives.

• Partner with CPG leaders to identify high-impact AI use cases (e.g., demand forecasting, personalized marketing, dynamic pricing, supply chain optimization).

• Drive thought leadership on emerging AI trends and their applications in CPG.

Solution Development & Implementation

• Design and develop AI-powered solutions tailored to CPG challenges, leveraging LLMs, predictive analytics, and automation.

• Collaborate with data scientists, engineers, and business teams to create scalable AI models.

• Ensure responsible AI deployment with a focus on ethics, bias reduction, and compliance.

Stakeholder & Cross-functional Collaboration

• Act as the bridge between AI/ML teams and business leaders, translating business needs into technical solutions.

• Engage with sales, marketing, supply chain, and R&D teams to drive AI adoption.

• Work with technology partners and vendors to evaluate AI tools and platforms.

Data & Insights-Driven Decision Making

• Leverage AI to extract actionable insights from consumer behavior, market trends, and operational data.

• Optimize AI-driven pricing, promotions, and category management strategies.

• Enable AI-powered customer experiences, including chatbots, recommendation engines, and predictive analytics.

Required Qualifications & Skills:

Domain Expertise (CPG)

• Deep understanding of the CPG industry across retail, e-commerce, and supply chain.

• Experience with AI-driven solutions in demand forecasting, inventory management, and consumer analytics.

• Knowledge of omnichannel retail, direct-to-consumer (DTC) strategies, and trade promotions.

AI/ML & Technical Expertise

• Experience with Generative AI, LLMs, NLP, and machine learning models.

• Hands-on expertise in AI frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, or Hugging Face.

• Familiarity with data platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud), MLOps, and AI governance.

• Understanding of computer vision, deep learning, and AI-driven automation is a plus.

Business Acumen & Leadership

• Strong experience in leading AI transformation within large-scale enterprises.

• Ability to develop AI-driven business cases and communicate ROI to stakeholders.

• Strong collaboration and stakeholder management skills across technical and non-technical teams.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Master’s/PhD in AI, Data Science, Computer Science, or Business Analytics.

• Experience working with AI in a CPG company, retail, or consulting firm.
