Primary Purpose:
The purpose of this position is to translate strategic marketing plans that support the long-term strategy of the company into clear creative strategies that grow the skylight category and the VELUX brand. This position will manage the creative process from concept to completion and direct the internal creative team in the production of all marketing content - print, digital and video assets (The Fuel). This fuel will be used to power our marketing and demand generation engine and grow our business. This position will also be responsible for ensuring visual communication and brand standards are followed.
Position Location: This is a hybrid role requiring on-site presence at our Fort Mill, SC office three days per week (Mo-Wed)
Starting Monthly Salary: $8,899 – $11,124
Primary Responsibilities:
- Develop strategic marketing plans that support the long-term strategy to grow the skylight category and VELUX brand.
- Work with other departments, teams and senior management to develop and support marketing programs, marketing strategies and activation of campaigns.
- Evaluate the impact of marketing programs in achieving their stated objectives.
- Analyze target insights and trends and develop a strategic plan on how to convert audiences through different mediums, including digital, print and video materials.
- Develop creative briefs to gain consensus and provide creative guidance for assets.
- Engage with and guide external partners on content creation to support activation needs.
- Identify and plan sales and installer asset support opportunities across multiple touchpoints.
- Collaborate with inbound team to create, test, and evolve lead nurturing tactics and content.
- Develop a measurement plan to gauge activation performance, optimization opportunities and identify key insights from which to build upon.
- Ensure VELUX brand guidelines and standards are adhered to across multiple mediums.
- Manage budgets, deliverables, and timelines.
- Manage, motivate, and mentor team members, including designers, art directors, 3D-Artists, photographers, and videographer.
Qualifications:
- A Bachelor’s Degree in Graphic Design or Fine Art is required. A Master’s is preferred.
- A minimum of 8 years’ experience in a highly productive creative environment.
- Strong business sense, with an understanding of how to leverage creative to drive business. A proven track record of success in a digitally driven creative environment, preferably within luxury brands.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, are a must.
- Excellent relationship building skills creating an environment of trust and collaboration.
- Must demonstrate strong project management experience, superior organization and time management skills. Ability to excel in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects from concept to completion under varying time constraints.
- Possesses an excellent knowledge of design software - including In-Design, Illustrator, Photoshop, Premiere and After Effects.
- Keeps updated on the business environment and economic situations and understands the impact of the changes on the business.
- Demonstrates the ability to stay ahead of industry, design, social media trends and technology.
- Highly developed design sense and desire to produce elevated, brand-building, and innovative work.
- Excellent type/design skills, and conceptual design skills.
- Proven track record in working effectively with cross functional groups, sales organizations, customer service and operations. Influences externally and internally to gain commitment, agreement and support.
- Compliance with all rules of conduct, safety regulations and policies provided in Employee Handbooks, on Company bulletin boards/announcements, terms/conditions of employment or other means of communication is a requirement of the job.
