The Role- key responsibilities

As a Quality Assurance Specialist, you will test features in our cloud-based SaaS platform for online interpreting. You will be working online and independently, but with support from developers and colleagues.

What You'll Do:

• Prepare comprehensive test plans within a fast-paced, agile-based work environment.
• Execute manual test cases and generate detailed test reports.
• Perform recurrent manual testing of client scenarios to ensure system reliability.
• Ensure the quality of our web applications and mobile (iOS and Android) solutions.
• Develop and maintain automated test cases for scalable testing processes.
• Draft and refine quality assurance policies and procedures.
• Provide accurate estimations and effectively manage project timelines.
• Undertake daily maintenance and support tasks to ensure the platform’s efficiency.
• Collaborate with team members to align project requirements within the testing scope.

• Skilled in collaborating effectively with international remote teams and external suppliers.
• Fluent in English (additional languages are a plus).

What You Bring to the Table:

• 5+ years of experience in manual and automated software testing.
• Expertise with AWS or other cloud platforms.
• Knowledge of QA tools, concepts, and methodologies.
• Experience with several of the following tools and frameworks:
  • Test Rail
  • Jira / Confluence
  • GitHub / BitBucket
  • Jenkins or other CI tools
  • Selenium
  • SoapUI
  • Postman
  • Apache JMeter
• Familiarity with analyzing server logs and message queues.

Nice to Have Skills:

• SQL proficiency.
• Knowledge of JUnit or other testing frameworks (e.g., Cypress, Playwright).
• Experience with VoIP and Audio/Video technologies.
