About the role

Brown and Caldwell has an exciting opening for a Sr. Project Manager to support our Digital Services (DS) group. This role will work directly with functional leaders, teams, and outside partners as an agent of the DS Project Management Office, to deliver technical programs and projects in support of the overall enterprise digital strategy. The Sr. PM is expected to design and implement the necessary strategy and plan to successfully deliver large, complex technical projects, as well as lead teams during the execution phase. This role will serve as the liaison between the teams involved in prioritized projects and the DS organization, keeping both informed of plans, issues, changes, and key milestones. The Sr. PM will also assist business units in effectively investing and delivering technology solutions by defining and following a clear application and data strategy.

Job Responsibilities/Expectations:

  • Develop and implement the overall strategy and plans required to successfully deliver technical programs and projects.
  • Lead teams through the project delivery process, from intake and prioritization through design and implementation.
  • Develop and maintain trusted advisor relationships with Functional Leaders, C-Suite, Business Owners, Functional Process Leaders, outside parties, and other stakeholders.
  • Work with other DS Leaders to build and support the Enterprise Strategic Technology Roadmap.
  • Support project intake and demand governance, prepare projects for gate review and prioritization.

Qualifications:

  • Experience successfully delivering complex, enterprise-level initiatives, programs, and projects.
  • Possess process understanding in program and project delivery, including:
    • Initiation (defining value, strategic Alignment).
    • Planning (scope definition, solution identification).
    • Execution (solution design, project scheduling and task management, risk management).
    • Close-out (transition to standard operating procedures, capturing value).
    • Solid analytical, problem solving and project management skills.
    • Experience designing and implementing Agile and Waterfall based project plans.
    • Excellent listening and communication skills (oral, written, presentation) with all levels of the organization.
    • Strong interpersonal and customer service skills, ability to build trusted relationships.
    • Strong organizational change management skills, ability to drive significant change at an enterprise level.
    • Bachelor’s degree from a four-year University or College in Information Technology, Engineering, Business Administration, etc., or equivalent experience.
    • 5+ years’ comparable experience as a functional partner or program/project/product/change manager.

    Salary Range: The anticipated starting pay range for this position is based on the employee’s primary work location and may be more or less depending upon skills, experience, and education. These ranges may be modified in the future.

    Location A: $115,000-$156,000
    Location B: $126,000 -$172,000
    Location C: $138,000-$188,000
