2. The role
As an EFL Teacher, you will play a vital role in helping students achieve personal and academic growth during their time at our language camp. Working with a culturally diverse group of students, you’ll engage in enriching interactions while helping them improve both their English language proficiency and social skills in a dynamic, immersive environment.
Your responsibilities will include delivering engaging, communicative lessons that foster a safe, inclusive and enjoyable learning atmosphere. Additionally, you will be expected to manage teaching-related administrative tasks and actively contribute to the positive camp experience.
3. Key responsibilities
3.1 Teaching
Ensure all language tuition is appropriate to a camp environment and in line with the ALPADIA curriculum.
Have and demonstrate a sound knowledge and awareness of the use of English and the linguistic systems underlying it, providing appropriate models of both spoken and written English.
Ensure the content of the lessons considers the course objectives, the learning needs and cultural backgrounds of the students.
Ensure each lesson leads to relevant learning outcomes, which are made known to students, and which are achieved through a coherent sequence of activities.
Show initiative to ensure the syllabus is adapted to meet the specific needs of our students, both at a class and individual level.
