Overview

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

• 2 of the most recent 4 years’ experience performing HVAC/refrigeration equipment installation and maintenance
• Proficient in the use of a volt/Ohmmeter

One of the following:

• Completion of 2-year Technical School
• Completion of Apprenticeship Program in functional area

And

One of the following:

• Graduate of HVAC/Refrigeration program

Minimum of 5 of the most recent 7 years’ experience in HVAC/Refrigeration repair

 

Licensure/Registration/Certification:

• Active Unrestricted Class D U.S. driver’s license

Desired Qualifications:

• Completion of a two-year technical school program

 

Responsibilities

Maintain, repair, fabricate and install HVAC/Refrigeration equipment in accordance with established standards. May perform a variety of general and preventive maintenance to ensure safe and effective plant operations. Including maintenance, repair, fabrication, and installation of various equipment in accordance with established standards.
