THE JOB:

It is the responsibility of the Poker Tournament Dealer to perform the act of dealing and running a game in a professional manner while providing excellent guest service during our September tournament.

THE STARTING RATE: $7.25 plus tokes

THE DAY-TO-DAY:

• Responsible for accuracy of table bank

• Responsible for compliance of gaming regulations

• Explain rules and answer questions for guests

• Notify shift supervisor of irregularities in customers play

• Responsible for accuracy of table pot and table rake

• Develop customer relations and facilitate usage of the one club card

• Assist in poker room operation as needed

• Assume additional responsibilities on an as needed basis

 MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

• High school diploma or GED

• Six (6) months of poker dealing experience

• Able to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:

• Extensive knowledge of all poker games and procedures

• Basic and intermediate math skills, handling chip and currency, distinguish poker hand combinations

• Able to effectively communicate in English, in both written and verbal forms

• Ability to multi-task and work well in a fast paced, team-oriented environment

• Excellent customer service skills and interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with all business contacts
