<p><strong>Sr. Research Associate, Novel Delivery Technologies</strong></p> <p><strong>Your experience includes…</strong> </p> <ul> <li>A Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Bioengineering, or related discipline and 2-4 years of experience, or a Master's degree in these fields with 1-2 years of experience.</li> <li>Prior experience with either of the following: <ul> <li>Working with lipid nanoparticles (LNPs), including their manufacture and characterization.</li> <li>Implementing various bioconjugation techniques.</li> </ul> </li> <li>A track record of planning experiments and completing deliverables within specified timelines.</li> <li>Excellent communication/presentation skills and capability of conveying technical information in a clear and thorough manner.</li> <li>A strong self-starter with excellent organizational skills and a strong attention to detail.</li> <li>The ability to work with dynamic teams in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial, and technical setting.</li> <li>Industrial research experience is preferred.</li> <li>It's a bonus if you have: <ul> <li>Knowledge of nucleic acid chemistry and biology</li> <li>Prior experience with various protein characterization techniques</li> <li>Experience with lipid nanoparticle process scale up/down</li> <li>Process development and/or analytical development experience</li> </ul> </li> </ul> <p><strong>You are interested in…</strong> </p> <ul> <li>Assisting in the development of an extrahepatic LNP delivery vehicle to support delivery of editing payloads in vivo.</li> <li>Assisting with experimental design and execution of formulation discovery and platform development activities.</li> <li>Performing characterization of LNPs to determine size, polydispersity, concentration and encapsulation using established techniques.</li> <li>Performing characterization of LNPs to determine RNA and protein content.</li> <li>Executing experimental plans and interpreting the results with guidance from senior scientists.</li> <li>Troubleshooting lab workflows and maintaining lab equipment.</li> <li>Providing high quality results and maintaining high quality documentation in lab notebooks.</li> <li>Collaborating effectively with process development, analytical development, biology, and pharmacology teams.</li> </ul> <p><strong>About you:</strong> </p> <ul> <li>You are a driven, enthusiastic and self-motivated individual who is comfortable multitasking and working independently on various aspects of the platform.
