Responsibilities

Please Note: Housing is not Provided

• Performs a variety of receiving and shipping tasks including unpacking, packing, ticketing, paperwork etc.
• Routinely processes deliveries and coordinates distribution and storage.
• Processes retail inventory by applying price tags, sorting, and distribution.
• Physically moves inventory from place to place within the facility without the use of motorized equipment.
• Answers inquiries from employees and management regarding inventory.

Requirements

• Must pass a pre-employment background check.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to stand/walk/work on feet for a minimum of 8 hours per day.
• Must be able to work a flexible schedule including working beyond normal business hours and/or weekends on occasion to support business needs, projects, or operations. 
• Dedicated to delivering excellent customer service to all guests, coworkers, and vendors.
• Must be eligible to work in the United States. Holland America-Princess is unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of employment visas at this time (e.g., H-2B status).

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities: 

• Ability to organize and prioritize work, and maintain attention to time constraints, while working in a team or group environment. 
• Attention to detail is a must!
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple tasks and external influences. 
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while achieving daily goals. 
• Ability to support and comply with company policies, procedures, and guidelines including support and comply with company health and safety standards.
