JOB DESCRIPTION:
Perform venipunctures, organize blood collection work, process blood samples, maintain blood collection area, maintain lab supplies, and clean laboratory glassware.
EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:
High School Diploma or High School Equivalency Diploma
SKILLS:
Ability to comprehend medical terminology
Data entry or typing skills preferred
SCHEDULE NOTE:
This is a float position - days, evenings and weekends as scheduled.
LICENSE:
Valid NY State drivers license.
ASCP registry for phlebotomy technicians required .
