About The Job
Dudek is currently seeking a full-time Senior Engineer in our Engineering Division. This position provides planning and design support as part of a project team for water, wastewater, and recycled water projects, predominantly focused on infrastructure related planning, and design. The ideal candidate would be a professional engineer with 5+ plus years of experience in water infrastructure related civil engineering.  This position will be based out of our Liberty Station or Encinitas locations.

Duties and Responsibilities (may include some or all of the below): 

• Leading hydraulic modeling and capacity analyses of pressure (water/recycled water) and open channel flow (sewer) systems, predominantly using Innovyze (AutoDesk) and Aquanuity software packages (InfoWater, InfoSWMM, AquaTwin Sewer, etc.).
• Leading the planning and analysis of water, wastewater and/or recycled water processes and facilities, including master plans, hydraulic modeling studies, capacity analysis, alternatives analysis, condition assessment, cost estimates, risk evaluation, operations and maintenance assessments and other planning studies.
• Capability to work in the field, including inspections and field measurements, as necessary.
• Potential for limited travel within San Diego, Orange County, Riverside, San Bernardino, Los Angeles, Ventura, Imperial, and Santa Barbara counties.
