About the role

Job Description:

THE OPPORTUNITY

                                                                              

Provide administrative support for the entire Rights team, including our external consultants

 

RESPONSIBILITIES 

  • Help coordinate multiple International Book Fairs per year

  • Help process routine requests for material and assets from foreign publishers/our foreign agents

  • Coordinate approvals for all brands via marketing and editorial or licensors

  • Provide day to day support for co-edition fulfilment

  • Maintain databases and grids that support the department

  • Coordinate travel and set up meetings upon request

  • Additional ad hoc admin support as needed

  • Opportunity to take on some small markets if time allows

Qualifications

HOW YOU CAN FIT    (Qualifications) 

  • Excellent communication skills, written and verbal

  • Organized

  • Detail-oriented

  • Able to multitask, think critically, and interact with a wide variety of departments and people

  • Proficient in MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint

  • Bachelor’s degree

  • An interest in the business side of children’s book publishing a plus
