Manager, Integrated Business Planning (IBP)

The Manager of IBP will drive innovative integrated business planning capabilities, in line with the planning strategy for Vans Americas. Critical to building these new capabilities will be developing and implementing Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) strategies to ensure alignment between demand, supply, and financial plans.  The role reports into the Sr. Manager of IBP and will partner closely with Regional Planning, Commercial, Marketing, Supply Chain, and Finance teams to ensure the Vans IBP plan is consistent with regional brand objectives and performance targets.

How You Will Make a Difference

What you will do:

  • Collaborate cross-functionally to drive the S&OP/IBP process, focusing on demand plan, fiscal plan, inventory management, and business target setting.
  • Serve as the Business Process Owner for Vans Americas Inventory Management process to ensure that quarterly inventory targets are met which balance revenue/profit and service for the VF enterprise.
  • Develop IBP maturity and drive closed-loop S&OP actions to align demand, supply, finance & inventory plans with market trends and commercial targets.
  • Govern process for regional supply/demand plan validation, consolidation, and integration of regional market intelligence.
  • Support monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting and business analytics.

  • Support long range business/scenario planning (12-36 months horizon) for regional inventory and financial investment.
  • Drive continuous process improvement for S&OP/IBP by analyzing business opportunities/risks using statistical analysis and financial modeling.
  • Analyze business opportunities and risks using statistical analysis and financial modeling to collect, validate, and analyze data.
  • Support the creation of end-to-end planning processes and workflows to drive key short-term decisions and long-range strategic decisions.

How you will do it:

  • Conduct analysis of supply chain processes, including planning, sourcing, production, and delivery.
  • Identify analytical tools, models, and methods to drive key business decisions.
  • Develop, maintain, and monitor all S&OP processes in the franchise including target setting, training, process maintenance and tool set use, to achieve an effective S&OP/IBP process.
  • Work independently in a structured and driven way, leading priorities and providing reliable results.
  • Navigate through ambiguity, build positive relationships considering diverse perspectives and styles and gain cross-functional support to deliver on strategy and objectives.

What success looks like:

A successful IBP Manager will drive execution of regional best practices to optimize inventory and support IBP processes to deliver enterprise objectives annually.

Years of Related Professional Experience: 5+ years

Educational Position Requirements:

  • B.A. or B.S. degree in supply chain management, engineering, or operations logistics business or related field.
  • APICS or IBF
