HOW A TECHNICAL EDITOR SENIOR WILL MAKE AN IMPACT
Collaborate with subject matter experts, engineers, and product managers to gather information and ensure technical accuracy
Create style guides, develop and maintain templates and content standards to ensure consistency and quality across documents
Manage documentation through its lifecycle: drafting, reviewing, publishing, and maintaining updates
Reviews and edits material for punctuation, grammar, and content.
Identifies and modifies contextual errors, reorganizes content, and edits graphics, tables, and illustrations.
Develops the process of crafting and refining ideas, cultivating sources, and developing highly complex and articulate articles.
Translate technical information into engaging and accessible content for both technical and non-technical audiences, turning insights into language for user success.
Update and improve existing knowledge base(s) to improve knowledge article content, knowledge article disc. Support the verification, approval, and processing of document revisions.
Create training materials, job aids, work instructions, and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for tasks, knowledge transfer, incident and problem resolution.
Accurately record key information from a meeting, such as decisions, action items, and key discussions, to create an official, verifiable record.
Communicate all documentation changes and updates to customer, management and operation staff.
Gain a deep understanding of systems and services, and translate complex information into simple, polished, engaging content.
WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED:
● Education: Bachelor of Arts/Bachelor of Science or equivalent combination of certification and experience
● Required Experience:
- Minimum of 8 years of technical writing or related experience
- 5+ Years of experience developing comprehensive documentation that meets organizational and customer standards.
- 5+ Years of experience writing, formatting, and orga
