DRTS provides the infrastructure and instrumentation for Abrams, Bradley, Stryker, and Aviation platform live-fire gunnery training and qualifications and the ability to conduct Combined Arms Live Fire Exercises (CALFEX).</p><p>GDITs Network Systems Administrator will report to the Range Manager and is responsible for all employees, tools, inventories, maintenance, and the overall product provided to the government. </p><p></p><p><span>Seize your opportunity to make a personal impact as a Network Systems Administrator.</span><span> <span>Here, you’ll tailor cutting-edge solutions to the unique requirements of our customer. Our work depends on a Network Systems Administrator joining our team to help build and enable the readiness of our Nation's Army!</span></p><p></p><p><u><b><span>MEANINGFUL WORK AND PERSONAL IMPACT</span></b></u></p><ul><li><p>Reports directly to the Range Manager and is responsible for ensuring all servers, workstations, and Information Technology (IT) related assets are in good working condition. </p></li><li><p>The Network Systems Administrator is the subject matter expert (SME) for all DRTS IT operational support</p></li><li><p>Manage network servers</p></li><li><p>Set up accounts and workstations</p></li><li><p>Monitor performance of systems</p></li><li><p>Maintain systems according to requirements</p></li><li><p>Troubleshoot system issues and outages</p></li><li><p>Ensure security through access controls, backups and firewalls</p></li><li><p>Upgrade systems with new releases and models</p></li><li><p>Develop expertise to train staff on new technologies</p></li><li><p>Maintain technical documentation, manuals, and IT policies</p></li><li><p>Conduct inspections and inventories of all assigned IT equipment before and after each live fire-training event for accountability and serviceability</p></li><li><p>Reports and coordinates daily with the Range Manager on range maintenance, scheduled live fire training events, and very important person/personnel (VIP) visits. </p></li><li><p>Report acquisition of supplies, equipment, and parts weekly to Range Manager</p></li><li><p>Conduct an inspection and inventory of all assigned equipment before and after each live fire-training event for accountability and serviceability.</p></li><li><p>Ensure training and inventories are properly conducted</p></li><li><p>Ensure the necessary records and reports are complete and properly maintained</p></li><li><p>Ensures required to maintain and repair and Conduct Preventive Maintenance Checks and Services (PMCS) on IT equipment. </p></li><li><p>Supports the required GDIT/W-TRS cross training plan to support other W-TRS TADSS on installation.</p></li><li><p>Interface with customers and site Government personnel, report TADDS status, any maintenance issues as well as assist with training schedules.</p></li><li><p>Attends daily range safety briefings are conducted each morning</p></li></ul><p></p><p><b><u><span>WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED:</span></u></b></p><ul><li><p>Education: BA/BS or 4 years equivalent experience</p></li><li><p>Required Experience: 4+ years of related experience Managing US Army DRTS IT EQUIPMENT/ranges, Military and Leadership Experience preferred</p></li><li><p>Required Technical Skills:</p><ul><li><p>Technical expertise in range systems, equipment. and range <span>maintenance. </span></p></li><li><p>Knowledge of network protocols, operating systems, and security practices.</p></li><li><p><span>Experienced in US army doctrine live-fire gunnery training and qualifications, combined arms live fire exercises, and After-Action Review (AAR) capabilities. </span
