The Opportunity
Provide guidance and direction to assure compliance with all regulatory requirements while achieving cost, collections, safety, and organizational goals for their assigned centers (approx. 7 centers). Accountable for quality compliance of each center in the area. Demonstrate company values to ensure success of the entire organization.
The Role
- Ensure center processes conform to operations standards by collaborating and communicating with staff and help resolve operational issues with corrective action measures.
- Maintain frequent and open communications with corporate operations, regulatory and quality departments on issues that may potentially affect collected plasma safety, quality, identity, and purity. Review operational metrics and report for trends and opportunities for improvement, provide feedback to foster a philosophy of continuous improvement.
- In collaboration with Associate director of Field Quality, assists Center Leadership in audit preparation. Collaborate on CAPA development plans for suitability and use processes to administer operational compliance. Participate in audits. Manage audit outcomes-during and after the audit-escalating as issues identified.
- For audit findings, assists center with response to address the compliance concern for review. Represent company to Regulatory agencies and inspectors.
- Collaborate with Associate Director of Field Quality to ensure centers meet operational, quality and safety Measurements and data integrity investigations. May include joint center visits. Conduct routine tier meetings with Associate Director of Quality.
- Ensure operational indicators are in place and perform as expected to manage CSL Plasma's systems and Plasma's processes. Conduct center visits to confirm QA, Operational and Safety performance.
- Lead on operational projects and implementation of process changes.
- Monitor all marketing, advertising, applicant conversion rates and donor retention to ensure centers are accomplishing programs for best results and make recommendations to improve the process.
- Provide oversight of employee related issues. This includes choices for hiring employee relations, corrective actions and salary structures. Follow all HR policies and HR practices through equitable treatment of all employees. Communicate with HR and Quality to ensure HR compliance. Develop center leadership team through hiring, training, and succession planning. Develop leadership knowledge in measurements on how to improve performance.
- Ensure excellent customer service in centers. Provide a good customer model service to employees, communicate openly with customers, ensure efficient donor flow and processing times, and resolve non GMP complaints or concerns promptly.
- Support facility maintenance to highest safety, compliance, and cleanliness standards.
- Partner with corporate facilities to always ensure center compliance.
- Perform other responsibilities, as assigned, to support needs.
Your Skills and Experience
- Minimum 4 management experience, including managing employees required Experience managing multi-site locations preferred
- Progressively years more responsible positions in a complex organization and experience working in a regulated environment preferred
- Analyze situations, establish risks, find solutions to prevent future issues and resolve recurring defects
- Training and presentation skills to achieve results.
- Understand regulatory standards, multiple local, state and federal laws that apply to the business and where to find information on standards and interpretations
- Experience with planning resources, organizing resources, securing and managing project resources preferred
- Proficient at providing help and directing managers to identify problems and resolve problems preferred
- Skills in budgeting and financial management
- Develop remote employees
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in business administration or biological sciences program or equivalent combination of education, training and experience required.
- Maintain company technical training certification, current professional licensure or certifications, knowledge of complex government and industry regulations and ability to monitor compliance remotely with these regulations.
- Manage and monito the entire financial responsibility in a Region.
- Overnight travel required up to 75% of the time without lengthy lead-time.
