Position Overview:


As the Manager, Regional Data Analytics (NCA)   you’re a key member of the North & Central America (NCA) Regional Strategy and Marketing Team , reporting to the VP of Regional Strategy & Marketing NCA .    You will contribute to the success of Ball by overseeing the data analytics function within NCA. You will drive the collection and corresponding insights from data, enabling informed decision-making and driving business performance.  

 

Your Key Areas of Responsibilities Include: 

 

  • Data Strategy Development: Develop and implement a regional data analytics strategy aligned with the COE data access resource(s) and broader organization's overall goals and objectives. Define key metrics, data sources, and analytical methodologies to drive actionable insights and improve business performance.  
  • Data Analysis and Insights: Oversee the analysis of data from various sources, including internal databases, customer interactions, market research, and external sources. Use advanced analytics techniques to uncover trends, patterns, and insights that drive business value and inform decision-making.  
  • Business Intelligence Reporting: Develop and maintain business intelligence (BI) dashboards (consistent with the COE and regional views), reports, and visualizations to communicate key insights and performance metrics to stakeholders within the region. Ensure data accuracy, reliability, and accessibility for informed decision-making at all levels of the organization.  
  • Strategic Planning Support: Collaborate with regional leadership teams to identify strategic priorities, opportunities, and challenges. Provide data-driven insights and recommendations to support strategic planning, resource allocation, and performance optimization. 
  • Performance Tracking and Monitoring: Establish KPIs and performance metrics to track the effectiveness of regional initiatives and programs. Monitor key business metrics, identify trends, and proactively address areas of concern or opportunity.  
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Partner with cross-functional teams, including COE Strategy and Marketing, sales, regional strategy and marketing, operations, and finance, to integrate data analytics into business processes and decision-making. Collaborate on projects and initiatives that require data-driven insights and expertise.  
  • Data Governance and Compliance: Ensure compliance with data governance policies, regulations, and best practices within the enterprise (COE) and region. Implement corporate IT via GSS data security measures, privacy controls, and data quality standards to protect sensitive information and maintain data integrity.  
  • Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities to enhance data analytics capabilities, processes, and tools within the region. Stay abreast of emerging trends, technologies, and best practices in data analytics and recommend opportunities for innovation and improvement.

 

Required Experience and Skills: 

 

  • Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, or Statistics  
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in data analytics.
    • Strong analytical skills and the capability to leverage data-driven insights to support strategic objectives within the region. 
    • Understanding of how data strategy aligns with the overall business strategy, technology approach, and digital transformation agenda. 
    • End-state for data management in the short and medium term.
    • Compelling business case for data strategy, emphasizing its impact on decision-making, innovation, and competitiveness. 
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in business intelligence: 
    • Developing and maintaining business intelligence (BI) dashboards, reports, and visualizations consistent with the COE (Center of Excellence) and regional views 
  • Data Analytics:  
    • Creating and executing a regional data analytics strategy that aligns with the organization’s overall goals. 
    • Overseeing the analysis of data from diverse sources, including internal databases, customer interactions, market research, and external data. 
  • Performance: 
    • Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and performance metrics to evaluate the effectiveness of regional initiatives and programs.
    • Collaborate with regional leadership teams to identify strategic priorities, opportunities, and challenges.
