The Opportunity
As a Data Science Team Lead for Atheneum Partners you will execute data science projects which drive forward our internal platform, thus enabling the operations team to be more productive and efficient in delivering insights and expertise to our clients. A primary focus of this role will be to provide intelligent and useful recommendations and predictions to operations, ensuring they have the right data at hand when delivering on client projects. 

Main Tasks

• Collaborate with business stakeholders and analytics team members while taking ownership of complex projects which convert abstract concepts into data science solutions
• Query and manipulate complex datasets to prepare data for analysis
• Develop data products such as statistical analyses, dashboards, API endpoints, and models which deliver actionable value to the platform and stakeholders
• Lead code review, validation, and design review activities to ensure and demonstrate high-quality output

• Participate in strategic roadmap planning and assist in defining project proposals and scope
• Communicate results at multiple levels of technical detail to various stakeholders
• Guide and mentor other Data Scientists in the team to deliver high quality solutions

Requirements

Profiles we are seeking

• 3+ years experience delivering data science projects involving advanced techniques (such as statistical analysis, predictive modelling, forecasting, data visualization, and machine learning) from beginning to end
• 3+ years of statistical programming with at least Python
• 2+ years of advanced SQL programming
• 1+ years of being a team lead or senior data scientist

• Familiarity with AWS
• Skill in interpersonal communications and ability to communicate complex topics to non-technical audiences
