Summary of the Role

We are seeking a skilled Product Management Specialist to join our Hospitality Business Unit. The ideal candidate will possess technical and functional knowledge in their discipline and understand the Amadeus business and its relation to their area. You will work with existing procedures and guidelines, providing inputs to support and influence area decisions. Your role will involve making recommendations on new and already existing solutions for Hotels Operations, proposing improvements by analyzing various sources of information.

Main Responsibilities

Assess Requirements:

• Build, maintain, and share functional knowledge of our processes, services, and end-user products.

• Analyze business requirements submitted by Product Management.

• Size specification and validation work.

Carry Out Functional Design:

• Write Feasibility Studies, Solution Overview Documents, Interface Control Documents, and Product Specifications.

• Present functional walk-throughs to all concerned stakeholders.

• Interface with relevant divisions and departments to ensure functional compatibility with other Amadeus applications.

Overview Validation:

• Contribute to the implementation of the test strategy and review test plans to ensure compliance with delivered functionality and system integrity.

• Ensure traceability of tests with specifications.

• Investigate, validate, and prioritize reported incidents to ensure production integrity.

Manage Relations with Key Stakeholders:

• Interface and communicate with Product Management, Project Management, Amadeus Customer Services, Implementation, Migration, and Development teams.

• Interface with customers during requirements understanding, functional specification, testing, and implementation phases.

 

About the Ideal Candidate:

• Previous experience in the hospitality industry.

• Good knowledge of tech applications.

• Familiarity with PMS, revenue management, or other platforms used in operational areas in the hotel environment.

• Strong English communication skills.

• Proven experience as a Product Management Specialist or in a similar role.

• Strong understanding of business processes and requirements analysis.

• Excellent documentation and communication skills.

• Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.

• Experience with Agile methodologies and participation in Agile ceremonies.

• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

• Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively.
