SALES - RELIEF

On-Premise Sales Relief

Overview

In this entry level sales position, you will be responsible for providing vacation relief for Pre-sell Representatives, assisting with merchandising, same-day deliveries and general sales support.

Logistics

• Schedule: Monday – Friday. Start Time 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM. Occasional coverage needed for night time tastings and weekend events.

Requirements

• Customer Support: Addressing customer inquiries, providing product information, and assisting with processing electronic orders

• Relationship Building: Foster positive relationships with restaurant/store management and personnel and provide superior customer service.
• Event Support: Assisting with wine tastings, trade shows, and other sales events after standard work hours.
• Product Knowledge: Staying informed about the wine portfolio, including product details, vintages, and flavor profiles as well as expanding general wine knowledge.
• Administrative Tasks: Handling paperwork, invoicing, and order processing, graphics department
• Inventory Management/Merchandising: Assisting with stocking shelves, managing inventory, rotating products and placing orders, maintaining merchandising standards, use hand trucks when needed
• Sales Support: Providing administrative and logistical support to sales reps and management, including preparing sales sheets for tastings, and deliveries to customers
• Communication: Communicating with management, sales reps, customers in an effective and reliable way

Physical Requirements

• This position requires lifting and loading cases of wine up to 55 pounds repeatedly to deliver orders to customers, stock shelves and build displays

Basic Qualifications

• Excellent math skills required/capable of calculating margin/mark-up percentages
• Excellent computer skills- i.e, Excel, Word, Powerpoint, Internet research
• Must pass drug test and physical capabilities test.
• Must pass a background check.
• Must be capable of working long hours to complete the job
• Must have a Valid driver's license.
• Proof of insurance.
• Previous restaurant experience a plus
