Senior Associate, Process Manager, Hardware Strategy (Hybrid)

As a Senior Associate, Process Manager, you will be the primary support lead for the Manager of Hardware Strategy. You will drive the operational execution of our physical customer touchpoints, ensuring that the fleet is modern, functional, and aligned with user needs. This role is designed for a highly disciplined professional who will assist in managing the entire hardware lifecycle—from procurement support to the execution of large-scale deployment projects.

General Responsibilities

• Strategic Support: Assist the Manager in identifying and recommending long-term strategies for ATM and non-ATM Branch Hardware through rigorous data analysis.

• Fleet Health Maintenance: Support the building and maintenance of models used to predict hardware lifecycles and future technology needs across the branch network.

• Project Execution: Partner with the Manager to ensure the flawless execution of hardware-related projects, including installations, upgrades, and branding transitions.

• Procurement & Vendor Support: Assist in the sourcing and acquisition of hardware, helping manage vendor relationships to ensure quality and cost-efficiency.

• Process Validation: Execute rigorous testing and validation processes for new hardware to minimize downtime and ensure a premium customer experience.

• Precision Reporting: Create and maintain process documents and project reports that translate hardware performance metrics into actionable insights for the Manager and senior leadership.

• Risk Mitigation: Proactively identify breakdowns in the hardware lifecycle and assist the Manager in analyzing the upstream and downstream impacts of hardware changes.

The Ideal Candidate

You understand that a successful hardware strategy is built on accurate data and robust processes. You are comfortable working under the direction of a Manager while maintaining the independence to manage your own daily workflow and communicate effectively with cross-functional partners.

Location: This role is hybrid, where you will be expected to spend 3 days per week working in office and the remainder of the week working virtually.

Basic Qualifications:

• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent certification

• At least 2 years of experience in Project Management, Process Management, or Relationship Management

• At least 3 years of experience using Microsoft Office or Google Suite

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree or Military Experience

• 1+ year of experience in hardware lifecycle management

• 2+ years of experience in retail bank operations

• BPM, PMP, Lean, or Six Sigma certification

The minimum and maximum full-time annual salaries for this role are listed below, by location. Please note that this salary information is solely for candidates hired to perform work within one of these locations, and refers to the amount Capital One is willing to pay at the time of this posting. Salaries for part-time roles will be prorated based upon the agreed upon number of hours to be regularly worked.

Candidates hired to work in other locations will be subject to the pay range associated with that location, and the actual annualized salary amount offered to any candidate at the time of hire will be reflected solely in the candidate’s offer letter.

This role is also eligible to earn performance based incentive compensation, which may include cash bonus(es) and/or long term incentives (LTI). Incentives could be discretionary or non discretionary depending on the plan.
