The Job:

As a Project Manager, you’ll be part of our Tools and Outdoor - Commercial team working as a virtual employee.    You’ll get to:   

  • Project Plan: Develop project plans, timelines, and budgets in collaboration with stakeholders and team members. Define project scope, goals, and deliverables. Identify and mitigate project risks.
  • Team Manage: Lead and manage cross-functional teams, driving engagement and supporting workstreams to achieve project goals. Assign tasks and responsibilities to team members. Ensure that team members have the necessary resources to complete their tasks.
  • Communicate: Communicate project status, risks, and issues to stakeholders and team members. Conduct regular project status meetings to keep everyone informed. Prepare project status reports, including executive-level presentations, by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends.
  • Resource Manage: Manage project plan, timelines, documentation, resources, including people, equipment, and materials. Ensure that resources are used efficiently and effectively.
  • Quality Assure: Ensure that project deliverables meet the quality standards set by stakeholders. Conduct quality reviews and ensure that corrective actions are taken as necessary.
  • Project Monitor and Control: Monitor project progress and make necessary adjustments to ensure that the project stays on track. Identify and resolve issues that may impact project timeline or budget. Proactively assess and address project needs, potential impediments, and consult with senior leaders as necessary.

The Person:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, communications, or a related field.
  • Understanding of project and problem-solving disciplines such as Lean, Six Sigma, or Total Quality Management
  • Minimum of 3 years of project/program management ownership, preferable experience with consumer products company.
  • Proficient in all Microsoft Suite Software, especially MS Project, Excel, PowerPoint.
  • Comfortable with creation and execution of GANTT Charts.
  • Demonstrated experience working across functions, managing large cross-functional workstreams to deliver enterprise objectives.
  • Systems knowledge: SAP, Business Warehouse, Salesforce.com
