Your Role
Are you a visionary leader with a passion for driving strategic change? Intermediated Insurance Australia (IIA), part of IAG, is seeking an experienced Executive Manager, Optimisation and Execution to lead key initiatives that enhance operational efficiency, leverage emerging technologies, and align with organisational growth objectives.
This high-impact position involves leading the design, planning, and delivery of IIA's Strategic Portfolio. Your contribution will be critical in driving operational innovation, transforming core business functions, and embedding best practices to achieve measurable outcomes.
Key responsibilities include:
- Develop and embed efficient processes to enhance delivery, transformation, and alignment with IIA’s goals.
- Prioritise and execute initiatives that optimise investment, manage risks, and maximise outcomes.
- Drive business transformation through automation, process reengineering, and innovative technology solutions.
- Foster collaboration and strategic change, building strong stakeholder relationships and championing continuous improvement.
- Streamline operations and deliver scalable workflows that enhance productivity, reduce costs, and align with customer and business objectives
This is a permanent full-time opportunity and open to candidates based in Gadigal Country (Sydney), Naarm (Melbourne) and Meanjin (Brisbane)
About You
You will bring a proven track record in leading transformation, operational excellence, and strategic delivery, complemented by:
- Strategic vision and tactical expertise to balance daily operational needs with long-term objectives.
- Leadership and influence to inspire teams, drive performance, and foster collaboration.
- Experience in implementing automation technologies, re-engineering processes, and leveraging data-driven insights to drive transformation.
- Strong collaboration and stakeholder management skills to align teams and achieve shared outcomes.
- Commercial acumen, portfolio management proficiency, and a customer-focused approach to delivering exceptional results.
- Portfolio and risk management expertise, ensuring investments are optimised and risks are mitigated.
- A proven ability to lead offshoring or outsourcing initiatives, including vendor negotiations and performance monitoring.
- Change leadership skills to manage complexity, ambiguity, and foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.
