Your Role: Electrical Principal Project Engineer, First Class Seating:
We are seeking a dynamic, forward-thinking Electrical Principal Project Engineer to lead the development of innovative solutions for complex technical challenges in our First-Class Seating division. This role isn’t just about engineering; it’s about vision, leadership, and innovation. You will work at the intersection of advanced technical principles and multidisciplinary collaboration, guiding teams to push boundaries and deliver excellence.
What you will do:
- Lead and execute complex, multi-disciplinary projects, developing detailed project plans, schedules, and budgets to ensure timely and successful project delivery.
- Act as the primary technical liaison for customers, effectively communicating project updates, technical insights, and strategic recommendations.
- Mentor and guide engineers, fostering an environment of continuous learning, growth, and collaboration.
- Conduct critical path analysis, develop work-around plans, and identify opportunities for cost optimization to achieve project goals.
- Drive product research, design, development, integration, and testing to meet program requirements and exceed customer expectations.
- Coordinate and lead design reviews with internal stakeholders, ensuring alignment throughout each project phase.
- Proactively identify potential risks and implement mitigation strategies to keep projects on track and within budget.
- Represent Collins Aerospace as a key technical expert in customer meetings and industry forums, influencing the future of aircraft seating technologies.
