As a Lead User Experience (UX) Designer, you put yourself in the user’s place to understand the best ways they can engage with the system. In this role, you’ll collaborate with UX designers and product managers to understand your clients’ vision and their users’ needs. Working on an Agile team, you’ll act as a storyteller, translating research into actionable user insights. You’ll lead the full spectrum of the digital creative process, including information architecture, interface design, and product implementation and development. Your experience with information architecture, interface design, and product implementation and development will help you advocate for the prioritizations of design-centered changes, refinements, and improvements while keeping the end-user at the center of your work.

You Have: 

• 7+ years of experience with User Interface and User Experience design

• Expertise in design tools, such as Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, or Sketch

• Experience in user research, usability testing, and design thinking

• Experience in Agile development 

• Ability to apply visual design expertise with a focus on clean, modern design

• Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to create and implement UX strategies, evangelize the importance of UX design, and promote a user-centered culture within an organization

• Secret clearance

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Design, Information Systems, or Computer Science

• UX Design Certification

Nice If You Have: 

• Ability to collaborate with the product owner and liaise between the technical team and the client to establish a common understanding of requirements and design

• Knowledge of the overall software delivery lifecycle (SDLC) and activities

• Possession of excellent communication and collaboration skills
