Position Summary:

We’re looking for a highly experienced Junior IT Deployment Specialist to oversee the implementation and deployment of Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems. This role involves managing complex configurations, data migration, and user training, ensuring a smooth transition to the new system. You’ll collaborate closely with business stakeholders and technical teams, often acting as a key leader in large-scale ERP projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Work with Senior IT Deployment Specialist and other IT related Subject Matter Experts
• Perform analysis of Department of Navy (DoN) ERP system functionality and processes
• Develop and present recommendations to client (client-facing)
• Implement and deploy Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems within an organization, including managing complex configurations, data migration, user training, and ensuring a smooth transition to the new system, often acting as a key leader in large-scale ERP projects while collaborating closely with business stakeholders and technical teams
• Troubleshooting and implementing solutions based on findings and client feedback
• Document and track requirements, including closure
• Develop and explain as-is and to-be process flows
• Lead and support SAP migration activities
• Provides project coordination, support, and plant / site management for enterprise integration of supply chain processes and applications into DoN ERP solutions
• Collaborates with stakeholders to gather and document business requirements, translating them into technical deployment plans
• Collaborates with cross functional teams, including business users, IT staff, and vendors to coordinate deployment activities
• Possesses a deep understanding of ERP functionality and configures the system to align with specific business requirements
• Develops comprehensive user training materials and delivers training sessions to end-users on key ERP functionalities
• Knowledge and experience with DoN ERP strategic-level planning, execution, and deployment in support of the Navy supply chain
