Demonstrated knowledge and experience in PageUp.
Demonstrated knowledge and experience in Banner HR. Essential Duties/Responsibilities: Assist the Chief Human Resources Officer with administrative support duties.
Lead the student employment process including:
*assisting hiring managers with position descriptions and posting process in electronic applicant tracking system.
*providing coordination and support for training in the student employment process
* making students aware of student employment opportunities
*process student employee paperwork .
Facilitate the gathering of information for both the immigration and accommodation processes.
Process driving records checks for employees and volunteers of the University.
Support the maintenance, reconciliation, and audits of all assigned Human Resources systems.
Provide excellent customer service, work to resolve problems and initiate solutions.
Maintain compliance with federal and state regulations related to HR responsibilities.
Be an expert resource for the student employment process.
Cultivates an environment of belonging that values, respects, supports, and celebrates individual similarities and differences, allowing students, faculty and staff to thrive authentically.
Support, promote, and develop university student enrollment and retention initiatives.
Participate in, or chair, various committees as assigned
Provide training as appropriate.
Attend meetings and conferences as required.
Any other duties assigned within the position classification area. Marginal Duties/Responsibilities: Skills and Abilities: Communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.
Compose original written materials, utilizing proper grammar, correct spelling and punctuation.
Achieve a strong working knowledge of Banner HR, PageUp, and other HR systems.
Work cooperatively with a variety of employees, vendors, and departments.
Ability to work under pressure with a high tolerance for interruptions while maintaining a high level of accuracy.

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to engage in cross-functional HR projects, and new initiatives. This individual must possess exceptional customer service, critical thinking, analytical skills, and the demonstrated ability to work independently with little supervision. The incumbent in this position will analyze, support, and perform responsibilities in the following specific areas: student employment, accommodations, immigration, and employee issues. The successful candidate must be responsive, excel at problem solving, and initiate solutions. The successful candidate must also be a self-starter, committed to lifelong learning, and possess a high value for collaboration and a comfort with ambiguity. The individual must value working with a diverse constituency and communicate effectively and professionally. Proficiency with MS Office and Excel is required. Position Type: Staff Required Education: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or related field.
