The Boeing CompanyThe Boeing Company is currently seeking a Senior Accountant (Consolidations & Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) Reporting) to join the team in either Chicago, Illinois; Renton or Seattle, Washington or Hazelwood, Missouri.
Position Responsibilities:
Support the preparation, review and filing of SEC periodic reports (10-Q, 10-K, 8-K)
Coordinate with segment financial reporting teams and other corporate functions (Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A), Investor Relations, Legal, Communications) for footnotes and management’s discussion and analysis
Review eXtensible Business Reporting Language (XBRL) tagging on areas of responsibility
Complete tie-outs of consolidated financial statements, footnotes, Management Discussion and Analysis (MD&A), as well as Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and SEC disclosure checklist
Perform analytical reviews of financial statements, review debt covenants, support annual report, and other special projects
Stay up to date on new accounting and disclosure guidance and implement
Complete U.S. Government/census bureau reporting
Lead the development and deployment of highly complex changes to accounting tools, reporting and consolidation internal controls, processes, and process improvements
This position is hybrid. The selected candidate will be required to perform some work onsite at one of the listed location options. This is at the hiring team’s discretion and could potentially change in the future.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Finance or Accounting
3+ years of Finance or Accounting experience
3+ years of experience with a Big 4 public accounting firm and/or SEC reporting experience
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
Certified Public Accountant
Experience with Workiva
Experience with Oracle, PeopleSoft, Cognos, SAP
Experience in technical accounting research

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.
Summary pay range for IL and WA: $112,200 - $151,800
Summary pay range for MO: $104,550 - $141,450
