Plant Operator I (117)

This position is for a Plant Operator I whose responsibilities include: maintaining and repairing the buildings and grounds of the facility to insure a safe and reliable environment in accordance with accreditation standards, federal, state, and local regulations, organizational and departmental policies and procedures. This position reports to the Plant and Engineering Supervisor. 

JOB QUALIFICATIONS

 Minimum level of Education: Education level equivalent to completion of high school required.

Formal Training: None

Licensure, Certifications & Registration: Must possess a valid Class C driver’s license.

Work Experience:  Must be knowledgeable with minor plumbing, painting, carpentry, electrical and reading of Blue Prints. Intermediate skills in use of power tools and application of finish materials, i.e., paint, VWC, VCT, sheet vinyl, etc. Applicant must have at least 2 years of Hospital maintenance experience, must have basic handle tools.
