Day Shift - 7.5 Hours (United States of America)

Richmond University Medical Center is seeking a HR Benefits Specialist. This role primary function is responsible for all Leave of absences and union benefits. The following responsibilities:

  • Review FMLA, LOA, and WC reports on a weekly basis, communicate with departments for missing HR documentation. 
  • Responsible for all leaves (Disability, Workers Compensation, Intermittent, and Straight).
  • Responsible for certified mailings regarding union letters of LOA, terms, and medical documents.
  • Follow up for all doctor notes for employees on leave of absence.
  • Responsible for assisting with daily phone coverage, and daily HR duties and functions. 
  • Other related duties assigned or requested.

Requirements:

HS Degree Required. Bachelor’s Degree Preferred.

Excellent presentation and communication skills.
Ability to function as part of a team and adapt to change in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to be detail oriented and deliver accurate and specific work products
.

One to three years of experience in a Human Resources Assistant position required.

Salary: $88,000
