About this opportunity
MillerKnoll Retail is looking for an Allocation Planner to join our corporate Planning and Allocation team. This role is responsible for new store opening product planning and allocation, project management for allocations projects and support for the allocations team as needed.
Ownership of product planning and ordering for new store openings.
Allocate and manage inventory ordering and status for new store opening. Collaborate with merchandise and visual teams on product strategy for new stores. Collaborate with logistics, warehouse and new store opening teams to ensure timely delivery of new store opening priorities. Create and distribute reporting for new store project status and risk to product arrivals. Manage on site inventory receiving, reconciliation and issue resolution in collaboration with new store opening teams. Partner with new store team on identifying and recommending operational improvement opportunities for new store opening process.
Project manage off standard process allocations projects. Create and distribute reporting for allocations initiatives to cross functional teams. Manage internal timelines and deliverables within the allocations team. Perform additional responsibilities as requested to achieve business objectives.
Bring an entrepreneurial mindset with the customer centered at the core of inventory decisions.
Basic Qualifications
2+ years in Inventory Planning, Allocation or Supply Chain
Home Furnishings experience preferred.
Strong skills in Excel and Microsoft Suite tools.
Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
Strong ability to collaborate, values working in a team environment.
Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline driven environment.
