We are seeking a talented and experienced DevOps Engineer with exposure in High-Performance Computing (HPC) to join our team. As a DevOps Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our cloud infrastructure to support the organization's journey to cloud mission. This position requires a combination of skills in software development, cloud engineering, and HPC technologies to ensure the smooth operation of our computational workloads and services.
Key Responsibilities:
- On-Premises HPC Infrastructure Management:
- Design, build, and maintain a robust and scalable HPC infrastructure on our on-premises data center to meet computational requirements.
- Monitor and optimize HPC cluster performance, ensuring high availability and reliability for various applications and simulations.
- DevOps and Automation:
- Implement and manage automation tools and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines to streamline software deployment and infrastructure provisioning.
- Collaborate with software development teams to integrate HPC applications into the CI/CD process.
- Configuration Management:Utilize configuration management tools (e.g., Ansible, Puppet, Chef) to maintain consistency across the HPC cluster and ensure reproducibility of environments.

Basic Qualifications:
We are looking for professionals with these required skills to achieve our goals:
- Proven experience as a DevOps Engineer, with a focus on managing on-premises HPC infrastructure.
- Proficiency in scripting and programming languages like Terraform, Python, Bash, or Perl.
- In-depth knowledge of High-Performance Computing concepts, including parallel computing, job scheduling, and cluster management.
- Experience with HPC schedulers such as SLURM, LSF.
- Familiarity with containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Singularity) and orchestration tools (e.g., Kubernetes)
- Strong understanding of configuration management tools (e.g., Ansible)
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
