(Senior) Frontend Developer (m/f/d)

We support our customers in making buildings more climate-friendly, more comfortable and more affordable - with connected real estate, simple products and high processing and service quality. We provide our customers with efficient, tailored processes and applications for operating IoT infrastructures in real estate, as well as our flexible Enterprise-IoT-Suite, in which we manage data from many millions of sensors into intelligent products and services.

You will take ownership of your team's frontend codebases. By establishing structures, best-practices and architecture, you enable your Full-Stack and Backend Developer teammates to contribute to the frontend codebase sustainably. By mentoring your teammates in frontend development you ensure that they can work independently of you.

Vice-versa, the team will teach you all you need to know about developing for beyonnex's Enterprise-IoT-Suite backend on our JVM-based stack, enabling you to also contribute to backend tasks when necessary.

In detail:

• You will become a member of one of our engineering teams, building a business-critical back office application of the beyonnex ecosystem
• You will be involved in every part of the frontend software engineering process and in the lifecycle of the services that your team is building - design, development, testing, deployment, maintenance, operations and improving software based on user feedback and usage metrics
• You set up and maintain a structure in our frontend codebase that makes it easy for Junior frontend developers to contribute clean and correct code.
• You take care of the tricky and complicated frontend development work in the application
• You lend a hand in backend development every now and then. This is to ensure end-2-end knowledge is present in the entire team.
• You will work closely with our product experts to iteratively improve our products and
  services by conceiving, refining and delivering new ideas

We are searching for a motivated candidate with following qualifications:

• At least 4 years professional experience as a software developer focused on frontend development on SPAs.
• Excellent knowledge of either Angular or Vue.js
• Ability to write robust, responsive and high-quality HTML+SCSS code self-sufficiently
• Willingness to learn or experience with backend development on a modern JVM-based tech stack (we use Kotlin and Quarkus)
• You are located in a timezone +1 or -1 hour from Berlin time. This is needed because we host events for the company and individual teams a couple times per year.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related fields or comparable education
• Practical experience working in agile development teams
• Curiosity and the ability to learn fast
• Problem-solving mindset
