Many iconic signs, including the “Welcome to Fabulous Las Vegas” sign were manufactured, installed and/or leased by YESCO. YESCO Franchising provides proprietary software, training & support, purchasing power and national account collaboration to its franchisees. 

As a member of the YESCO team, you will aid in the development of a curriculum for onboarding new custom sign salespeople. The curriculum will be created within an existing learning management system (LMS) according to a company standards guide and templates. 

Job Description
The ideal candidate will be passionate about the personal growth and success of YESCO salespeople facilitated by the deployment of professional and engaging training content. You will have regular interactions with the Vice President of Sales and other subject matter experts.

As a training designer, you develop curriculum inside an LMS platform with the ability for content to be consumed by the learner in both desktop and mobile form.  You will follow standards to ensure uniformity in our training content but have creative license in creating effective audio and visual content within those guidelines.You also collaborate in a small group of trainers with expertise in other subject matters and/or have skills in managing digital media content.

Key job Responsibilities

• Interface with the Vice President of Sales to ensure the needs of the sales team are being met with respect to onboard training

• Structure a curriculum focused on training new custom sign salespeople

• Create mobile friendly microlearning lessons, courses and curriculum through multiple modalities including e-learning, blended content, videos, images, narrations, etc.

• Translate tasks and concepts identified into engaging content 

• Maintain and update training materials as necessary

• Collaborate with a small team of other trainers to ensure uniformity and cohesiveness

Qualifications

• An undergraduate degree in communication, education, design, or related field; or relevant professional experience in similar role 

• 3+ years experience creating or implementing educational or professional curriculum

• 2+ years experience as an administrator or user of a Learning Management System (LMS) such as Bridge, Canvas, Cornerstone, Thinking Cap, Ed App

• Proficiency in text editing software (e.g. MS Word, Google Docs) and visual presentation software (MS Powerpoint, Google Slides)
