We are seeking a talented individual to join our Consulting Support team at Mercer. This role will be based in Lisbon. This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office.
Our responsibilities include supporting the lead consultant in identifying and addressing client’s needs, solving and replying to client’s queries, drafting communications, amongst other more technical and complex requests.
A critical success factor for our team is maintaining constant communication with a diverse range of colleagues, from junior analysts to senior consultants at Mercer. While strong communication skills are essential, the role also requires critical thinking and meticulous attention to detail.

What you need to have:
- A degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Actuarial Sciences, Management, Economics, or a related field.
- At least 5 years of proven work experience in related areas.
- Ability to work effectively across different cultures and build strong relationships with colleagues.
- Proactive approach to work and a high level of emotional intelligence.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with team members and stakeholders.
- Demonstrated ability to handle conflict, resolve issues, and make decisions under pressure.
- High level of comfort with English, both written and spoken.
- Strong command of Microsoft Excel, Word & PowerPoint.
