Job Description

SHIPPING & RECEIVING COORDINATOR!

$19-20/HR + 5 % ANNUAL PERFORMANCE BONUS!

Phoenix, AZ (85009)/7:30 AM-4:30 PM (Mon-Friday), overtime as needed!/Outstanding FULL BENEFIT Package after 30 days! 2 WEEKS PAID VACATION after one year & PAID Holidays! Continuous Training & development! 401k/ and GROWTH! Our ideal candidate will have a min of 2-4 years of shipping & receiving experience within a manufacturing and/or distribution center to qualify! Solid employment history, with little turnover; excellent attention to detail and very organized, efficient with good computer skills; strong desire to learn and grow professionally; career oriented not just seeking a job! Forklift experience is required! Loading & unloading trucks in a timely manner;  Exceptional work ethic, someone who arrives early and stays until the job is complete; flexible, open minded, team oriented; Strong communication and customer service skills is a MUST! Duties will include the following:

Position Summary:

• Coordinate to ensure shipments are packaged and shipped ahead of due date
• Completing paperwork accurately: Bill of Lading, Customs Documentation, etc.
• Receives and inspects incoming shipments.
• Update shipping information in JD Edwards & reports
• Identify and communicate schedule and truck layouts for consolidated / large shipments
• Identify and communicate potential late orders daily
• Wrapping and crating completed orders
• Loading/ unloading trucks in a timely fashion
• Work safely and effectively
• Work with Supervisor to ensure orders ship on schedule
• Other duties as required.

Qualifications

• Superior understanding of shipping practices and documentation
• Warehouse/ Shipping experience.
• Leadership skills, successfully directs and allocates all work within the department
• Through knowledge of packaging standards and works toward preventing freight damage
• Common sense, attention to detail, and good problem solving skills.
• Good attendance record; no culpable absences
• Forklift experience.
• Communicates well with supervisor
• Shows initiative and strong work ethic, desire to learn.
• Available for overtime to stay late for loading trucks when necessary.
