Hatalom Corporation is seeking a Cybersecurity & IT Support Analyst to support the implementation and monitoring of secure IT environments for Department of Defense (DoD) mission partners. This entry-level, in-office role is ideal for candidates beginning their IT and cybersecurity careers and seeking hands-on experience in system security, network defense, and compliance-driven operations.
This position requires daily on-site support in an office and offers mentorship and growth opportunities within a collaborative engineering team.
Key Responsibilities
The Cybersecurity & IT Support Analyst will support senior cybersecurity staff and IT program teams by assisting with day-to-day security operations and end-user support activities, including:
- Supporting cybersecurity operations for IT systems and on and off site network environments
- Monitoring and responding to security alerts, logs, and system events using approved security tools
- Assisting with the Authorization to Operate (ATO) process to ensure systems meet applicable federal security requirements
- Conducting vulnerability scanning support, remediation tracking, and patch compliance reporting
- Participating in incident response efforts, including escalation procedures and documentation
- Supporting user account administration, access control enforcement, and periodic privilege reviews
- Assisting with system hardening activities and baseline configuration compliance
- Collaborating with IT support teams to ensure secure, reliable system performance and mission readiness
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent combination of education and experience)
- 0–2 years of experience in IT support, cybersecurity, or network administration
- Familiarity with cybersecurity fundamentals (least privilege, defense-in-depth, threat awareness)
- Basic knowledge of Windows and/or Linux operating environments
- Ability to work full-time in an on-site office setting
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience supporting DoD or federal IT environments
- Understanding of RMF processes and security documentation
- Active Secret clearance or ability to obtain one.
Certifications (Preferred or Within 6 Months of Hire)
- CompTIA Security+ (highly preferred)
- Network+ or CySA+
- Microsoft or Linux foundational certifications

LOCATION:
Orlando, FL (not eligible for remote/telework) - relocation assistance is not available for this position.
STATUS OF POSITION: Full-time, Salary Exempt
