Clinical Technician 1 – Psych Medical Surgical

Inova Fairfax Hospital Hospital is looking for a dedicated Clinical Technician 1 - Psych Medical Surgical. to join the team. This role will be 6AM – 6:30PM; Days Vary; Rotating Weekends & Holidays).

• To learn more about a day in the life of a Clinical Technician 1, please visit:  Working as a Clinical Technician (2 Mins)
• Provides direct care to patients under direct supervision of registered nurse.
• Effectively communicates with team members, patients, and visitors. 
• Maintains professionalism and integrity throughout the healthcare system.
• Training:  Must be available six (6) for non-consecutive weeks of paid training, consisting of:
  • Virtual orientations (Two from 8AM -4:30PM)
  • Virtual training modules.
  • Classroom-style sessions: 8AM – 4:30PM (6 shifts total)
  • On-unit shifts
• May perform additional duties as assigned

 

Minimum Qualifications:

• Education: High School diploma or equivalent.
• Certification: Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association, or obtain within 90 days of hire 
• Special Skills: Proficient verbal and written communication skills in English
• Physical Requirements: Ability to lift minimum of 35lbs pounds
