Position: Microwave & RF Test Technician (Level 5)
Location: Chelmsford, MA
Team: Product and Test Engineering – Analog Devices Federal LLC
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Microwave & RF Test Technician to support the development and optimization of test processes for advanced RF and millimeter-wave products. This hands-on role is ideal for someone passionate about precision testing, troubleshooting, and working with cutting-edge technology in a collaborative team environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Set up and calibrate RF/microwave test stations and equipment
- Test, troubleshoot, and tune microwave and RF modules during prototype and low-rate production phases
- Maintain accurate and organized test data records
- Assemble breadboards, test fixtures, and wiring harnesses
- Support manufacturing readiness by training the NPI (New Product Introduction) team
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma with a minimum of 5 years of experience in microwave electronics, or an associate degree, or military electronics training with 5+ years of experience
- U.S. Citizenship required; must be eligible to obtain a government security clearance
- Proficiency with RF/microwave test equipment including network analyzers, spectrum analyzers, power meters, and signal sources
- Strong hand-eye coordination for microscope work and basic hand soldering skills
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office and computer-controlled test systems
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; ability to work independently and collaboratively
